All of the accommodation at Kings Canyon is at the Kings Canyon Resort. The resort can be found close to the canyon itself and is on the main road to the attraction. Kings Canyon resort caters for all kinds of tourists. Firsly, at the bottom of the scale are the campsites. These are ideal for backpackers and budget travellers. There is also a caravan park. Sites here are powered and cater to the many caravaners, campervan and motorhome travellers coming to see Kings Canyon. The resort itself has a number of options. There are hotel style rooms, apartments suitable for families and self catering cabins. The resort also has a restaurant, souvenir shopping and a cultural centre.Many organised coach tours visit and stay at Kings Canyon and this can use up much of the available accommodation. Always make sure you book your accommodation well in advance when travelling anywhere in the remote regions of the Northern Territory.
