Kakadu Accommodation
Accommodation in Kakadu National park is extremly limited so it is adviseable to book well in advance. The town of Jabiru lies within the confines of the park and is one of the few places you can find a place to stay. The Gadgedu Crocodile Lodge is found here and it is the highest quality accommodation in Kakadu. The resort is built in the shape of a crocodile and offers four star accommodation.
Aurora Resorts have two accommodation properties in Kakadu. Aurora Kakadu is a three star resort and Kakadu Lodge which provides a mixture of accommodation styles. They provide camping sites, cara van park sites and caravan park style cabins. A limited amount of other accommodation can sometimes be found in tent cabins.
Dont come to Kakadu expecting to find a place to stay, because the odds are there will be nothing available and it is a three and a half hour drive back to Darwin.
